Cynthia Hodge

Cynthia Hodge has a Master’s Degree in Psychology specializing in Psychometrics and Counseling. She has spent over 25 years of professional work and development in a wide range of activities from direct clinical service for families/adolescents in crisis to leading an international training network of over 6000 experienced facilitators delivering suicide prevention/intervention skills. She has excelled in training, mentoring, and building the skills of individual trainers and the leadership acumen of those she has supervised.

She is the former Executive Vice President, Training Network for LivingWorks, Education, a world-renowned suicide prevention and intervention company.  In the 8 years in that role, she supported the strategic planning/implementation for company growth to double the number of trainers in the international trainer network and provide training to over one million participants in the suite of programs. Cindy was instrumental in the leadership, mentorship and training within this network across many cultures, 35 countries, 5 military branches and 5 languages.

Prior to that role she developed a workshop entitled “Always Wear Comfortable Shoes” to support communities in preparing for response to traumatic events and supporting staff/personnel in those instances.  This workshop grew from her direct responsibility leading a crisis team response to the Columbine High School murder/suicide. She has extensive experience working in suicide prevention in the state of Colorado, nationally and internationally.  Throughout this work the value of collaboration, teamwork and aligning work with the strategic goals of grants, systems and organizations became a strong focus and skill set as she engaged in increasingly significant leadership roles.  Cindy currently lives in Louisville, Colorado.
